ACADEMIC PROGRAMS
Our academic programs balance structured learning with creative play, designed to challenge and inspire students at each grade level. We cultivate a nurturing environment where foundational skills and imaginative exploration thrive together, fostering curiosity and a lifelong love for discovery in every student that walks through our doors.
Faith Builders
Kindergarten-4th Grade
Kindergarten and 1st graders begin their journey in a caring environment focusing on literacy and social skills through storytelling and wonder.
2nd-4th graders expand their horizons through project-based learning, encouraging critical thinking and collaborative problem-solving discovery.
During these formative years, we help our Kindergarten and first grade students to build their faith while our 2nd-4th grade students lead by example in mentoring the younger students academically and spirtually.
Light Bearers

Preparing students for the next step by fostering independence and deepening knowledge in core subjects and leadership skills.
5th-6th grade students are emerging in their faith and takiing next steps on their academic journey.
7th-8th grade students are taking their next steps in their faith and academically are being challenged to take their next steps leading to high school.
Disciples
9th-12th grade
High school students are now mentoring younger students, earning high school credits, discovering what they want to pursue after graduating from FHA as emerging young adults. Students go on to University, State College, Technical and Vocational Programs.
God is guiding our students every step of the way!
Promised Kids
As directed by God, our Promised Kids Classroom (also called the Additional Supports Classroom) is for students that need more academic support than can be provided in our inclusion classrooms. Students range from 4th grade to 12th grade and work in small groups based on their ability. Students in these two classrooms may have a learning disability, intellectual disability or have been identified by our lead teacher as a student that requires additional academic support. The facilitator provides instruction in small groups with paraprofessional support during core instruction and other academic periods during the instructional day. Instruction is holistic, hands on and at the level of each student.
Our commitment is to our Promised Kids is help these students until they are ready for their next steps in the community and connect them with the resources needed to be successful upon graduation. Some of our students in this classroom will graduate on their 22nd birthday.

If you need a referral for a school that can provide the above listed supports, please call and request a referral. We are happy to assist.

Effective November 2025: Due to Marion County Public Schools offering virtual speech therapy, we are no longer offering speech/language services through the public school district. We welcome speech pathologists that bill insurance and are not virtual.
